ROSS Conf Remote Friendly

The Remote Only Ruby Open Source Software conference

Friday October 23, 2020

ROSS conf gives open source software maintainers the platform to introduce their project to an audience of first time as well as existing contributors. After introductions to the project, pressing issues and requests, the conference day is reserved for hands-on programming (or contributing through updating documentation or adding artwork!) and pairing with the maintainers. To conclude the hackathon the maintainers present data on bugs fixed, and pull requests merged.

Projects

rubyfmt

The Ruby Autoformatter that almost works. A bit like Rubocop, maybe, except that it's definitely not Rubocop.

Faraday

Faraday is an HTTP client library that provides a common interface over many adapters and embraces the concept of Rack middleware when processing the request/response cycle.

Skunk

Skunk is an open source tool that will help you find the stinkiest Ruby files in your project! Find which files are super complicated and have little to no tests. 🦨

Gemstash

Gemstash is both a cache for remote servers such as rubygems.org, and a private gem source.
